Welcome to The Warwick School’s transition information page. This is a page committed to providing information and guidance on how we plan to manage this important step into secondary education, providing a safe and secure start into this next chapter of your school-life.
On this page, you will find information regarding our admissions process, copies of the Parent and Student Welcome Packs, as well as welcome messages from each Department. During the last summer term, Departments produced videos and challenges for students to engage with whilst looking ahead at next academic year. We have chosen to keep these on our website for the time being, to give other prospective students and parents the opportunity to see what we do here at The Warwick.
Our Transition Program ensures a secure and calm start into secondary education, starting with getting to know your sons and daughters in their primary schools and building positive relationships with them from the beginning. Students will visit the school for an Induction day in the summer term, be given further opportunities to visit the school during the summer holidays, and they will also be able to celebrate their successful transitions with their primary school teachers during the first term through events and showcases that their previous teachers are invited to attend. All of these factors contribute to the smooth transition during this big step into the next stage of their education.
Our Year 7 and wider pastoral team strive to provide the necessary support to your sons and daughters every lesson, every day. This support starts through the transition process and I would ask that you do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further queries about this important time: firstname.lastname@example.org
I look forward to meeting you and your children in the future.
